One Transmitter has two buttons, one for each of Two Receivers.Batteries includedSetup: Carefully remove battery covers from transmitter and receivers.Transmitter battery cover flips open on the back. Receiver cover slides open on the back.Transmitter: Insert battery, Negative end against spring. (27Amp 12 Volt 23-944), included.Receivers: Insert battery, Positive side up. (3Volt CR-2023), also included.Carefully replace plastic battery covers.Operation: Press and hold one transmitter button. May have to hold up to 5 seconds to "wake" up receiver from battery save mode. Listen/Look for one receiver to beep/flash. Press and hold other transmitter button. Listen/Look for other receiver to beep/flash.Troubleshoot: Receiver does not beep/flash when Transmitter button held for 5 seconds: Replace battery.Receiver constant beep: Battery LOW warning.
